After more than four years of playing together as an acoustic duo, in 2004, singer-songwriters and My Texas Music Awards nominees, Rick Busby and Rick Danna decided to create a bigger sound. Having previously performed (in their acoustic duo persona) as Dos Tocayos, they re-dubbed their long-standing Logon Café appearances as The Rick Show and began inviting some friends out to join the fun. Since that time, there have been dozens of guest appearances, including the entire Buzz Walker Music cadre of songwriters including Jamie Talbert, Kevin Walker, Jimmy Kaiser and David Lee Kaiser along with some of Beaumont’s hottest musicians, which has included the talents of Kenny Wiebusch, Josh Courts, and the Trio of Docs (Watson, Bradford & Whitlock) and a host of others along the way sharing the music. Anchoring the show with songs from their respective solo debut records, Busby and Danna lead the band and its many fans through an evening of musical reverie that covers virtually every style of music from every decade of the rock and roll era. With a reverent eye towards great songs no matter where they come from, the musicians at The Rick Show have performed hundreds of different songs by now, which is why they say, "You never know what you’re gonna hear at The Rick Show!" However, there is no doubt you will be absolutely entertained!
