Hunter Davis
Hunter Tynan was born into an artistic working class family where the father was a lyrical leviathan and the mother a performing choreographer/dancer. From this setting an appreciation for expression and the fundamental quest for soul satisfaction were common elements of an average upbringing. Those elements helped shape his simple yet insightful approach to songwriting with a unique finger picking style of guitar playing that fires the synapses and shakes the senses.
Drawing from such influences as John Lennon, Jackson Browne, and Tom Petty, Hunter Tynan expresses a sound that harkens back to a time when music was essential to the expression of love, heartbreak, and political discontent.
