Southern Sky
Playing original and reconditioned acoustic music spanning Folk, Country, Rock, Bluegrass and perhaps another genre or two, Southern Sky brings more than 100 years of collective music experience to the stage. The band came together with the notion it would build a repertoire of songs from obscure artists, obscure songs from popular artists and unusual arrangements of more popular songs, along with original material.

Mike Monroe - With a wide variety of musical influences ranging from Bluegrass to Rock, Mike has 25 years musical experience and has played in several local bands. He plays guitar, bass, and fiddle and performs lead and background vocals.
John Richmond - Artist influences include Eagles, Jackson Browne, CSNY, Fogelberg, and others. John has 30 years of musical experience, has played in several local groups, and plays guitar, bass, and harmonica and performs lead and background vocals.
Don Jeffcoat -The sinistral member of the group. With nearly 40 years of musical influences that range from folk, country, and bluegrass to pop, classical, swing and jazz, Don plays guitar, mandolin, banjo and Dobro® plus background and lead vocals. He has played locally in duos, trios and bluegrass and swing bands.
Les Barnes - Les has played in several rock and country venues around this area over the past fifteen years, has no outstanding warrants (at this time).
