I keep an eye on this site to see how one of my favourite guys in the world is getting on. So Mr. Gist if you see this drop me a line and one of these days I'll make it off one of these two islands to see you play in Texas again, if you don't make it over here first. Miss you loads. And remember to drink plenty of OJ.

Listened and saw a few shows at your cyber cafe. Particularly entertained by the group you had on Saturday February 2. I believe the name of the group was Fantastic Enemy. They had a well rounded set list and they seemed to be rockin' the house. I felt the crowd response and the tunes were better than the headliner band that followed. Please book this group again as I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this band. They are up and comers!!!!

I am visiting the web sites of “Singing Wind Hill Music” and “The Logon C@fe” due to my interest in the wonderful music composed and played by Ryan Gist. I believe in Ryan and know that his path to professional recognition will be realized due to his dedication and enormous talent. As Ryan's older brother, I want to support my "little brother" by making a public show of support and expressing my respect for Ryan's music, values, and ethics. As an example of Ryan's kind nature, several years ago I was moved to tears upon hearing the song entitled "Caitlin," which Ryan composed, performed, and recorded. Ryan composed the moving song entitled “Caitlin” in the weeks following the death of my daughter Laurel. While I was lost in overwhelming grief over having held Laurel in my arms as she died, I also dealt with the emotions of having my other daughter (Caitlin - Laurel's identical twin sister) being in critical condition and fighting to survive the same medical conditions that took Laurel's life. In my grief and depression, I was sure Caitlin would follow Laurel's path. The words Ryan composed about Caitlin helped create the optimistic outlook required to survive 3 months in intensive care. While Laurel is always near in thought, I am elated to report that Caitlin survived and has grown into an intelligent and loving humanist. I know in my heart that Caitlin survived in-part due to the positive energy created by Ryan's song. I will always be thankful for the gift of Ryan's music and hope that his positive message may find a global audience. In Peace and Justice, Lawrence J. Gist II (a/k/a "Lance")
