Join us on the first Thursday each month for Open Blues Jam featuring your host, Chris Sachitano, and a house band. The jam is open to the public. Just show up at 7:30 to get on the list and you can either use the house equipment with your band, or sit in with the house band and play your request.

Chris Sachitano "Sach" was born 1970 in Beaumont, Texas. At a young age, he was heavily influenced by a variety of styles of music, but he held on tightly tightly to the blues. In 1996, he picked up a harmonica and people have not been able to shut up up since. For several years, he lived and worked in Houston, Texas, playing as a side man in various bands and eventually becoming the harmonica front man for the Houston based Blues/Rock band, Seventh Son. He currently resides in Beaumont, Texas.

Sach uses primarily a Chicago Blues Style technique, which incorporates substantial tongue blocking versus the lip pursing methodology. He is greatly influenced by bluesmen such as Kim Wilson, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, Muddy Waters and Freddie King. He plays Hohner Special 20s using a stock Shure Green Bullet mic or a Custom JT-30 mic with a Custom Fender Reissue Bassman Amplifier, built by Gary "Sonny Jr." Onofrio.
